Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown

Room was good. Breakfast is $11PP unless you are certain tier members. We got it for free but it’s nothing special - they were out of gluten free toast and limited options otherwise for gluten free. Many other reviews talked about how bad parking is & cost (thanks reviewers!!) so we parked a couple blocks away at a good review parking garage that was cheaper for 24hrs (government center garage on 415 S 5th st - booked through parking whiz). We felt our large suv vehicle was easily parked there, safe there and easy walk. We saw other hotel guests also walking from there. It was $25/24hrs. Hotel was close enough for us to walk to US bank for event.

Overall, we had a great stay in the two-bedroom suite! The room was spacious and had great views of the city. The main drawback is the parking garage!!! It's incredibly tight. Luckily, we drive large SUVS (Tahoe, Expedition, etc.), so we managed. We were afraid every day that we would scratch the rental on the walls of the garage. It's bad enough that we would love to book here again, but we won't due to the parking.

Awesome rooms, in the skyway, friendly helpful staff. Bar/restaurant in the lobby is great. Will be staying again in the future.

I stayed here months ago for a concert at the Armory, staying so close was very convenient and being connected to the skyway made navigating in the really hot summer days very comfortable. The parking wasn't as bad as the other reviews make it seem, it is the same as any other parking ramp in a big city. My only negative point is that the thermostat in the room had a light that was bright through the night and couldn't see a way to turn it off, we just put a pillow in front of it and that fixed that. All the staff were amazing!

2 blocks from The Armory. On-site parking was reasonable. Ramp entrance was a little tricky to find, but I blame that on my map app. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and well maintained. Plan to stay again next time a visit The Armory.

We had a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch bed. The beds were not comfortable by any means. I've had more comfortable beds in Holiday Inns. The bathroom door is just a sliding glass door. I get it suppose to be fancy but the issue is smells pass right into the room. You can also see into the bathroom around the door sides. There is a layer of dust on the ceiling from where the vent blows out. I know these aren't huge issues but for almost $200 a night I expect better.

Super cozy hotel. We were 3 minutes away from the armory. Walking distance which made it much safer to get to and from the venue and cheaper. Lots of food around. Comfy beds. And decently priced

Very clean rooms, amazing views of the Downtown area. Very close parking, just a few floors down from the check in desk. Calm and quiet environment. Very clean swimming pool. The hot tub had nice strong jet providing a wonderful back massage. The Fitness Center was much better than most hotels, there was several machines, few treadmills, pelaton, stair stepper, free weights and assisted weight machine. The breakfast buffet was the biggest bonus. Us and our 4 kids ate like kings, a fantastic start to our vacation days. We will definitely support this business again.
